He also knows that the Sanhedrin and the Pharisees have a tremendous amount of power and a large part of his job is to see that they are happy! He doesn’t want reports getting back to Rome that he is not doing his job. But, he KNOWS Jesus is not guilty of anything, much less anything deserving of death. He finds himself stuck in the middle of a world changing decision! Will he chose correctly?
